Baptism Stories 12 March 2013 12 Mar 2013
We met A on the street one day as we were walking and called her a few days later to meet. Our first appointment with her we told her why we were here and before we even asked her if she wanted to learn more she asked us what she could do. This girl is so ready for the gospel in her life and has such strong faith in God and His Son and wants to follow them. We feel so grateful to have met her. We continued to meet with her almost every day. She gained the strongest desire to be baptized but she thought that there was no way that her mom would allow her. But with faith and prayer and trusting in the Lord her mom's heart softened. Her baptism day was such a happy day for her!

We met R on the street back in November. From day one she showed great potential and desire to learn about the gospel. She quickly accepted what we taught and quickly recognized the Holy Ghost testifying of the truthfulness of our message. She struggled to give up coffee and was diagnosed with diabetes and started having other health problems. Through her faith and efforts she was able to overcome these obstacles. She has gained a very strong testimony through her trials and was beaming at her baptism.

Mr. A is a man of great design and wonder. He is a carpenter in Malatia. The spirit had a great hold on him as he wanted to get baptized. He is the son of an active member in the branch and loves how he feels while attending church. The Lord has truly blessed us with a prepared soul humble to accept His restored gospel. We look forward to seeing him possibly going and serving a mission, continuing to be a strong member of our branch, and changing lives just as he has changed ours as missionaries. <3 Elder Chojnacki and Elder Frey

H came in contact with the church several years back when he was working for the government and approached our church to get water in his village. Ever since that day he has been persecuted by everyone he knows because he associated with the Mormons and hasn't had a job since then. Despite his bitter feelings toward the Mormons he has always been an honest seeker of the truth and one night had a dream. From that dream he strongly felt that he needed to go to the Mormons to know more truth. Because of bitter feelings left from associating with Mormons he tried to put the dream to the side. After discovering his life wasn't going anywhere he figured he didn't have anything to lose and decided to get to know what a Mormon really is. To make a long story short He traveled from his far away village with his family just to see what we were all about to find that the Mission Office was closed the day he came. Miraculously he ran into an Elder (Elder Smith (Senior)) who happened to pull up in a taxi right when they showed up. They exchanged numbers and H was baptized on March 7. H read the entire Book of Mormon, wanted to be baptized, so we taught everything in two marathon lessons.

J. & L. have become part of our family. Thousands of miles from their home in the Philippines they have found where they belong. They have found their happiness, and peace. They have already shared the gospel with their friends who will be baptized March 30th. They can't wait for their families to see the difference this gospel has made in their lives.

J. left good work in the Philippines because he had to work on Sunday. He took a step of faith into the dark. That sacrifice led him, and his brother, L. to Georgia to find work. After finding nothing in Georgia, they came to Armenia. Here they started working, and living, with our one Indian member in the country, A. Our member invited them to church. We could not have done it without the member.

Heavenly Father led, and guided J. and L. to their happiness. He had a plan for them. All they had to do was sacrifice. But, if you asked them today they would tell you that in the end it was no sacrifice at all.
Much Love,
Elders Seegmiller and Olsen

The Lord promise us that the elect people will recognize the truth, and that we will be able to find them or they will be able to find us. This is the case for S. she was the one who reach the church.
She was afraid to enter through the door, because she had hear so many bad things about the "Mormons". One day she decide to try for herself and walk in. She said she felt something warm inside her with the testimonies of others, and she was curious about the temple.
S. said that she had never heard about temples before, about the sacred ordinances how we can be seal forever us families, that make perfect sense for her, and she could recognize truth. Her husband die, and her daughter as well, when she find out
about the plan of salvation she realize how important was to be able to go to the temple. She was baptized last Tuesday, with a smile on her face, and the peace to know that she, one day can be sealed in the temple with her family.
