These last few months with S. have been awesome. It really didn't feel like we were teaching him because it always seemed like he already knew everything. S. really was a huge blessing from the Lord. The branch had been really struggling with worthy priesthood holders that were committed and ready to serve. We were whitewashed into the area and we were struggling to find the elect investigators that we needed to build our branch. We had a list of names of referrals from our strongest member, A., in the branch from the previous missionaries, S."s name was on it and we asked A. about him and he was like "for sure you need to call him." We called S. He came and we did a meeting with the four of us and it was awesome. From that point we were able to get more meetings with A. and with S. when before that, A. had not been super involved in the missionary work and it started a big change in the branch in general that will lead to more baptisms. S. was so prepared for the Gospel. He never smoked, and he didn't like coffee. He had a great understanding of the Book of Mormon. He has a great family. The Sunday before his baptism S. stood up and bore his testimony in fast and testimony meeting and said "I believe that God has called a prophet again....that is I know that God has called a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God." S. and his family are going to be such a blessing to the branch and will change everything. The Lord is really hastening His work and opening doors.

From the very first time we met M, she was always anxious and thrilled to meet with us. She loved being at the church and loved the feelings she had there. As we worked with her towards her baptismal date, we had a couple of setbacks, but she kept pushing forward with faith and was able to be baptized. Our Heavenly Father's love has truly touched her heart and M is so happy and excited to keep learning and pressing forward in the gospel.

One day we were walking an unusual route when A. stopped us on the street and starting telling us about how he met missionaries a long time ago. He wanted to meet and he wanted the Book of Mormon. A. told us about all the problems and unfortunate experiences he had had in his life. He told us he had joined 7 different churches but he realized that none of them were true. He later told us that he was praying and then had a dream that God would send two people to help him. That was the night before he met us. He read the Book of Mormon, and then read it again and then he fell in love with the truth and told us the most important thing he wanted to do before this life ends was to be baptized into Jesus Christ's true church. He is so happy right now!

A. is a wonderful lady that was acquainted with the church for a long time. She had almost been baptized 7 years ago, but right before she put her foot in the water she had a heart murmur of sorts and she wasn't baptized. We found her again when we were visiting a member. She was always very willing to do what we invited her to do. She was struggling with her reading a bit, but we kept teaching her the importance of the converting power of the Book of Mormon. Then the next time that we came she had read all night long in the Book of Mormon and the Lord had opened her understanding and she continued to read and to take detailed notes of her reading. She one night had a vision of her family following the path of the Lord and how she and her daughter( who had passed away) would be able to reach the Kingdom of God. The whole time that A. was preparing for her baptism her happiness just kept increasing and when she was baptized she came out of the water she was overwhelmed with happiness. A. is wonderful person that the Lord gave us the opportunity to teach and she will be a great member and be able to help others.

N. is an amazing mother of two and her baptismal story is truly a miracle. She had a lot of doubts about commandments along the way and was really unsure about being baptized but the thing that really pulled her through the doubts and fears was the Book of Mormon. She started reading in November and ended up finishing it a couple weeks ago, with a thorough understanding of its contents. We had a very powerful meeting with her and the Zone Leaders where we once again invited her to be baptized and this time she was ready to make that covenant and keep his commandments. She was baptized 4 days later and confirmed the same day. Now Rustavi has its third strong and faithful member of Christ's one true church. What a blessing!

J. and R. were member referrals. Their recently baptized friends felt the difference in their lives and invited them to church. People like J. and R. are why we came on a mission. It has been amazing to see how quickly they accepted the truth and acted upon it. After our first meeting J. felt that he should stop drinking. Without us saying anything he quit, and has never looked back. From day one they had the desire to become better, and follow the Lord so He showed them the way. The elect are waiting for us.
Much Love,
