My name is James Hofheins, and I'm hoping you can help me.
I was engaged to Jasmine Miller of Geebung, but have not heard from her in months. I have recently learned that she was killed in a motorbike accident in Australia on 24 April, 2004. I can find no record, obituary - nothing of this accident.
Many of her letters told of her love for the sister missionaries who brought her hope and cookies. I'm hoping for a miracle here.
Because I am in Utah and haven't the slightest clue of where to look in Australia (she was living in the Brisbane area) - perhaps you could point me somewhere? I am sure you can understand how devestating the news was to me, and I really need to have it confirmed. The main thing I want to make sure is that her temple work gets done. Any information on my sweetheart's passing would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any suggestions of where else I may look, I would appreciate that as well. If there is anything more I can tell you, please ask.

| hey, all the missionaries. I just received my mission call 2 days ago. I will serve my mission in Brisbane mission home. I am a chinese brother from shanghai. I have never been to brisbane, so I am worried about how many clothes i am supposed to take , such as shirts , pants , suit etc. Is it very cold in brisbane in winter? I am very excited to go on my mission. I will report to NZ MTC in May 27th. I am looking forward to meeting you all. BTW I am so thankful that i am able to go on mission from Mainland China. Just been a little homesick for my second home (the ABM) and wanted to contact anyone and everyone that I may know from the mish.
I served 91-93. in Gympie, Bundaburg, Inally, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Camp Hill, and Brisbane.
I have been married for 2 1/2 years to Holly Butterfield from Maine via the Tempe, AZ mission. I am a full-time student at Utah Valley State College finishing my bachelors degree in IT and live in Sandy, UT. My wife gets together with her companions regulary, I often wonder why I never kept in touch with everyone.
