Presidents: Roue L. Hogan (1981 - 1984) | Robert C Meier (1984 - 1987) | Served: 1983 - 1984 | Areas Served: El Monte, Burbank, San Gabriel | Your Occupation: Vocational Evaluator | Comments: I'm glad I found this site and the people who use it. My mission memories and experiences are cherished and strengthen me often. The years since have gone by quickly and have also proved to be fulfilling and filled with missionary opportunities.
My chosen vocation is to work with people with disabilities, helping them find meaningful, gainful employment. The work is rewarding and challenging every day; I've found my bliss as I've gotten the blisters that go with it.
Having a family has not yet been granted to me, but my life has been full of sweet purpose and has been incredibly rewarding. The Lord needs us all and I've enjoyed serving where I could. My ability to pick up and go has led me to different locales in the U.S. and elsewhere in different capacities, and I've learned about and enjoyed diverse people and cultures.
My rock continues to be the Savior and the Gospel and all of us wonderful and flawed people in it. I'm grateful I got to serve the Spanish speaking people of California, and to serve with such exceptional missionaries found there. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord’s work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
