Those pictures were from 1991-1992. The Elder with the Bike is Elder Blettenbur, The Elder with the Budah is Elder Christian Brady. The other picture is the Hacienda Heights Zone. I was part of that zone. It has brought great fond memories. Thanks for posting them. :-)

I wanted to know if anyone has the contact information for Steven and Christina Jackson. They were in the El Monte ward in September of 2003, but I am not sure where they are now.

Has anyone heard anything from Marcella Burningham? The last time we spoke she was at the Y and she was living in Salt Lake and that was about 7 years ago. She was my trainer in Pamona (where I wanted to strangle myself and her and I fought off pride. :o)) She was an awesome missionary and a wonderful friend and I can't seem to find her. If anyone knows who she is and where she is please let me know.

Greetings from Claremont 2nd! Those of you who served in our ward will no doubt remember Sister Sheila Sherman. She was baptized in Nov 1994. Some of you lived in the apt next door to her! She loved serving and watching over you and continues to talk about "her boys." Last week she had a stroke and is in the Claremont Care Center on Foothill. I was wondering if anyone has the pics we took at a zone party at the park. We were catching snapping turtles with Carne Asada and tortillas. It would have been under Pres Kemptons time. It would be cool if someone had them. Hope all is going well for you all.

I served under Pres. Steward and Kempton back in late '99 to late 2001. I had around 23 companions (I was told I wasn't the problem) but only keep in touch with 2 ( J. Grantham and T. Kelley) I'm interested in contacting anyone that might still remember me. Also, if anyone knows or has heard anything about Aaron Edson, I'd really like to know. Hey, I was just called to the Arcadia Mission, Spanish Speaking. ITS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!
Anyway, does anybody have any advice on how best to prepare and how to most effectively learn the language. I am scared out of my mind, but really excited. Any information on the mission would be much appreciated. I enter the MTC on May 9th.
