Comments: I spent 12 years at BYU after the mission, obtaining a B.S., M.S. and PhD ('89, '91, '95) in Computer Science. I was not an "eternal student", but I did enjoy college life with advanced degrees in mind. In 1995 I defended my thesis, and got married in August, moved to Arizona with my wife, and returned to BYU at the end of August to graduate.
We spent 8 years in Arizona, where I worked as a programmer for Motorola, and where all but 1 of our 5 children were born.
In 2003, we moved to Charleston, SC, where I am currently a professor of Computer Science at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.
Though we miss friends and family in the West, Charleston is a beautiful place to live, and The Citadel has been good to us. |
