We have been married for over 18 years and have 2 children ages 16-girl- & 13-boy. We lived in Utah for about 11 years then moved to Oregon where we have lived here for 7 years.
Dwain owns his own business, computer analyst/programmer. He works in our home office. He has a great commute, just down the hall and to the right. I am a stay at home mom.
Dwain has been serving as bishop in our ward for 5 years now and I have been in various callings, holding 4 at the moment.
I look back on my mission with wonderful memories of much laughter, tears, sweat (lots of it), worn out shoes, rough knuckles from knocking on doors, pure joy of seeing someone accept the gospel, heartache when someone we had taught refused it, excitement of waiting for letters from home only to be disappointed by an empty nothingness in the mailbox, elders that we pranked and that pranked us back. All of these memories make up who I am today and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. I truly loved the people with whom I served and I truly loved those I served. They served me, as well.
