It's been such a long time and still can feel as if it was yesterday. I am a teacher at our local dental school, I work at the operative dentistry clinic and teach english to our dental students so they become familiar with dental terminology in english. I also teach English at the school of languages at this other state university. I love teaching, it's very satisfying and it gives me a chance to interact with young people and keep on learning. I am serving as the first counselour in our stake presidency. It has been a challenge and a very humbling and growing experience. I once asked President Gourdin why he had considered me for callings such as Zone Leader and then as one of his assitants since I was a foreigner trying to still learn the language. His answer has been ringing in my ears all these years. He said that I would need to learn how to be a good leader because my country needed so many of those and plus, I would need to become very fluent with the language for the lord's purposes.
