Hello Friends,
Nearing completion of our get-out-of-school-debt scheme. It worked! We are thrilled to be debt-free.
Three years later and still Primary President. Daniel is still WML. Dan gets new members to the Temple within three months of their baptism. They LOVE it. He is STILL a great missionary.
I still remember starting at the front of the busz and moving back just trying to find someone who was interested. Wonderful days!
I recently published a book about my Paternal Grandparents! It took me well over a year. I learned how to bind books and did all the binding myself. Certainly something I am proud of.
Natalie is nearly 4 years old. A very intelligent girl. She learns so quickly. She knows all the 2007 Primary Songs and has memorized numerous scriptures. She is really catching on to the the stories of the people in the Book of Mormon.
Everett, the newest member in the family is 10 months old. He is a Mama's boy. In other words we are glued at the hip. He also likes to cry A LOT! At the end of some days I have ringing in my ears! We certainly love him though. And he REALLY likes the dog.
Dan has applied for jobs back east, in Germany and in the south. We are excited to see where the Lord needs us.
Time flies and I can hardly believe that I was in Hungary almost 10 years ago.
I am grateful for that time. I am grateful for the blessings the Lord poured out upon me because of that service. Dan and I cannot wait to go again, together.
I have only kept in touch with a few of you. I apologize for not reaching out more. Please feel free to contact me.
We have been thrilled to see Lamfir, Wall, and Brummett--and we are sooo looking forward to vacationing with Parsons. We love you all and hope you are happy and well.
Petra and family.
Picture taken at Rock Art Ranch, here outside of Winslow. An amazing canyon full of petroglyphs, Indian and Pioneer era artifacts. It must have been in the 90 degree range but Natalie insisted on wearing a sweater! 3 year olds!
