Meet President James A. McArthur

 

 

 

President McArthur is from St. George 8th Ward, St. George Utah Stake. He has been stake president's counselor; high councilor, stake mission president's counselor, bishop, branch president, scoutmaster, and missionary in the Northern Far East Mission.

 

He is the owner of the Temple View R.V. Resort. He received his associate's degree in business from Dixie College and bachelor's degree in business from BYU. He was born in  St. George, Utah, to Andrew O. and Merle Sarah Wallace McArthur.

 

He married Denise Stone and they have seven children. Sister McArthur has been the Young Women president, stake Primary president, Relief Society president, Primary president and counselor, Young Women president's counselor, Relief Society teacher, and Primary teacher. She attended Dixie College and BYU. She was born in Glendale, Calif., to Ira Corbett Stone Jr. and Margaret Irene Loutensock Stone.
