- Karl T. Pope, 55, Edgemont 21st Ward, Provo Utah
Edgemont South Stake; Missionary Training Center branch president,
former high councilor, bishop and counselor, ward executive secretary,
elders quorum president and counselor, and teacher development director;
served in Northern Far East Mission, 1957-60; BYU professor of theater;
earned bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU, and doctorate from
Wayne State University; born in Vernal, Utah, a son of Lloyd Theodore
and Oris Powell Pope; married Connie Lundell, seven children. She is a
stake athletic director and Young Women adviser, former Relief Society
president's counselor, secretary and teacher, district Primary
president, ward Primary president, counselor and teacher; earned
bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU; born in Vernal, Utah, a
daughter of Harold M and Sarah Ruth Hart Lundell.
