Comments:
I married Jenifer in 1990, and we went to the University of Pittsburgh to get our degrees. We spent about six years in Japan, me working on a doctorate in Japanese History, Jenifer teaching English at Japanese universities. We lived in Fukuoka and Nagareyama (Chiba-ken). Along the way we adopted three children, Lachlan (b. 1999) and Case (b. 2007) in the US through LDS Family Services, Kiki (b. 2002) in Japan through Fukuoka City. Jenifer and I are both currently teaching at the University of North Texas. We go back to Fukuoka each summer for research and for the kids to attend Japanese schools. |
