My mission was an amazing experience. I cannot begin to mention everything I learned or all of the experiences I had over the two years. I had registered before the new format but it looks like that information was lost. One day I will write a book about how I was able to complete my mission while sufferring from Anxiety Disorder and how in the end the Lord blessed me.

Update 08/24/06: The Mission Reunion was a blessing I would have never missed. My wife had me take my son with me since she was sick and I know it gave him a new perspective on his father and the Elder and Sisters that I had referred to as well as our wonderful Mission President, President Carter. With all of the difficulties of dealing with our family and their individual mental illnesses (wife with ADD, son with anxiety and panic attacks and daughter with bipolar and anxiety with panic attacks as well as my anxiety) my social anxiety disorder has spiked again and has caused both sleep issues as well as personal problems in life and Church callings. I am also in school working on a degree in Psychology so that is added pressure. I have faith that the Lord will show us the way to healing as we continue to seak His Spirit and search in the direction He sends us.
