Hello everyone! I am posting this as many places as I can think of so that people are aware. Sister Joyce Harding (she and her husband served at the JSM in Sharon, VT) passed away this week. Here is the link to her obituary:

There is an online guest book for those who would like to sign it.
Take care everyone! I miss New England (not right now though... snow in Maine was the WORST...well, ice storms were the worst, but the snow was BAD!) Love you!

Just got my call yesterday and I'm super excited about it. I'm to report to the MTC 9/5/07 and I was wondering if there was anyone around that'd like to give some pointers to a poor kid from Texas.
(On a side note, I'm living proof that Heavenly Father has an ironic sense of humor. I've lived here in San Antonio, Texas since 1996, so of course logically, he sends me to New Hampshire. One extreme to the other. lol)

I received my call to New Hampshire last week! I am attending BYU and trying to get ready for the mission now. Are there any returned sisters that can give me some pointers on what to bring? I would love to chat!

I was pretty suprised when I saw that I was called to a spanish speaking mission in NH. Has anyone else out there done the whole spanish thing? I looked and saw that the only area with a high hispanic population was in Massachusits. As a spanish speaker am I destined to Massachusits?

Hey everyone! I was thinking about my "greenie" area and was wondering about a guy that we taught. His name was Peter Rand. He lived in Greene, Maine (my area was Lewiston, ME). Does anyone know what happened to him? I was there the end of 1997 and beginning of 1998. I heard that he eventually got baptized, but I was never sure. Thanks! Sister JoDee Summers

I overheard somewhere that the mission split and Maine was it's own mission.
Can anyone confirm or deny that?
WEBMASTER (Craig Olsen): This is just a rumor, and not true. The only changes that have happened recently are Lake Placid New York and Plattsburg New York are apart of the Utica New York Mission. And Keene New Hampshire is apart of the Boston Mass. Mission.

| LDS QUOTE: |

"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord’s work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
