I served 1972-74 . . . was originally called to the SWIM mission to speak/teach Navajo. When I arrived in the field was assigned to work in the spanish branch in Albequerque.
Just ran across this site and have had contact with only one of my old comps and that was 20 plus years ago. Would love to re-connect with anyone associated with the mission and especially any comps/elders who served in any district with me. I spent 1st year in Albequerque(5th ward, university, spanish branch) then went north to Los Alamos, Gallup, Durango-Ignacio&Mancos Colorado, finished up in southwest corner of mission in Jal, NM with Elder Christiansen)
Would like to contact elders from my era (if any are still alive and kicking) especially comps or anyone from my batch of 30 that were split up to serve English/Navajo by Pres. Felt! |
