I look forward to contact from any of my old companions or others that I served with. Those two years have really turned out to be a high point in my life. I've bored my family and the people in my wards to tears over the years with my New Zealand stories.
Looking back, I think that the greatest thing to have come to me personally from the work there is the love that I learned for those people that I knew and worked with. I have never forgotten...
My wife & I have raised 8 children in the past 35 years. Six of them are now married and have given us 11 grand-children. We have a computer whiz, an MD, a sales manager, and a couple of stay-at-home Moms amongst them now, and a teacher and several other professions yet to be decided. Our last one has been out of our home for several years and we have sold the BIG family home in favor of a smaller place as we prepare for the chance to serve a mission together... Maybe in New Zealand?! (I can always hope, can't I?)
