"Lived in northern Alberta and worked at Fairview College and Athabasca University. Married my dance partner from the ballroom dance team at Ricks College. (formerly Jana Hyer of Provo, Utah) Have 6 children, the two boys served missions and our oldest girl served in Zambia with Doctors Without Borders.
In 2000 moved to Red Deer, Alberta, half way between Edmonton and Calgary. Youngest daughter (16) is still living at home. My wife, Jana has become a Chartered Psychologist. What do the scriptures say, "never a prophet in your own country." I am currently working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities and find it to be very rewarding. |
