I still live where 'God dumped his paint containers when he was finished creating the world' (St.George) and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
I have taught preschoolers with disabilities for a little over 30 yrs. (Good heck, I'm old! If you are actually reading this, then you are old, too!) I have returned to Norge a few times, the last 2 being with my husband. Recently we took a tour called 'Scenic Norway', and toured all over the country. It was wonderful! We stayed a few days after the tour ended, so I walked around the streets of Bergen for an entire day, and thought I was going to die of exhaustion. How did I do it back then? I suppose a lack of arthritic knees and youth might have had a little something to do with it!
3 yrs ago I had the opportunity to 'drag main' for 2 hrs in St.George with Pres Langeland. Never would I have imagined in 1976 that I would someday be doing that! (Seriously, what else can you do in St.George at 11:00 pm besides 'drag main')? We had to 'kill some time' until his son returned to their condo that he was staying at, since he had forgotten his key, and I was his transportation after our St.George Norsk party. He was a very dedicated servant of the Lord.
