News Item: Mission boundaries changed
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News
On July 2, 2006, the Europe East Area presidency realigned the boundaries of the Russia Moscow Mission and the Russia Moscow South Mission and renamed the Russia Moscow South Mission: it is now the Russia Moscow West Mission.
Kazakhstan, which was in the RMSM, is now in the RMM. There are six missionaries serving in the largest city in Kazakhstan, Almaty, four Elders and two sisters.
The mission boundaries of the RMM are basically the same except that (1) a large portion of Moscow is now in the RMSM, and (2) the southwest piece of the original (to us) mission from Tver to the west is now in the RMWM.
