Justin David Rich's Obituary 15 May 2003
January 7, 1972 - May 12, 2003

Justin was born 31 years ago in San Bernardino, CA and was received with great joy by all. His death on May 12, 2003 in Ogden, UT was unexpected. He leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his family: his wife Jennifer Loveland Rich, who he married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and his son Samuel Albert Rich of South Ogden; parents David A. Rich and Kristine C. (Cook) of Layton; sisters Shannon Rich, Salt Lake City; and Megan Boseman, Houston; grandparents Albert and Beverly Cook of Taylorsville; nieces and nephews, and all those whose lives he touched.

Justin graduated from Layton High School and was a Senior at Weber State University. He loved his former job of ten years as an EMT at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. He served an LDS mission to Taiwan, Taipei where he loved the people, especially the children. He spoke fluent Mandarin and was hoping to use his Chinese as part of his vocation. He especially loved working on his old "77 Scout and became an accomplished mechanic. Big fish seemed to always be drawn to his hook. The outdoors and driving his Scout were favorite activities. But most of all he loved to be with his son and wife. We will miss him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Oak Forest 2nd Ward, 2250 E. 2300 No., Layton, Utah. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist"s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the ward. Interment, Morgan City Cemetery, Morgan, Utah.

A memorial fund has been set up for Justin"s son Samuel Albert Rich with Zion"s Bank for those who have expressed the wish to donate.
