| Comments: I was cleaning out the garage the other day and came upon all my mission memorabilia and I thought I would check out the ol' mission website. It seems like a long time ago now! Well, quick update as of December 2007 - I got married in 2001 and we now have two kids, Jack (3) and Charlotte (almost 1). I still live in my home town of San Diego despite a ridiculous cost of living but we're very happy here. I graduated from SDSU with a Russian major and a history minor, worked for a while in Russian-related businesses and now I'm VP of Merchandising at Blindsgalore, an online window treatments retailer. I finished my MBA early this year too. Actually, I still have a side business with Russian lacquer boxes, and I'm in the process of taking over and restoring www.sunbirds.com, the website of a lacquer art company I used to work for. So I'm still living the dream of at least a few elders who wanted to import stuff from the Motherland!
