Mariupol was opened or missionary work in December 1995. There is at least one branch of the church in Mariupol.
About the City.
They have there own molitvani dom with seminary and youth activities happening on a weekly basis. The first people to greet you when you get into the ward will always be the Bigun Family, Anja (starshaja) Anja (Maolodshaja), Nastija, and Galja. There is also atleast 2 deaf members in the ward, Mila (Militsa) and Natasha, natasha has a daughter who is also a member named Rita. Another member who is always making sure that there is a little excitment in the ward is Artem, he is actually Cuban and has lived in the ukraine since he was 10, he also has a command of the english language. another member,that anyone who served there would remember, is Rustan (he would never tell me his last name)speaking fluent english this member had one of the most interesting baptisamal experiences i have ever heard
