Lilia Josefina de Parra de García was called to serve with her husband as president of the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission.
Efraín Ramón García López, age 47, and Lilia Josefina de Parra de García accepted the call to serve as president of the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission, succeeding President Juan F. Zorrilla and Sister Zulay A. Gómez de Zorrilla. They are fron the San Diego Ward, Puerto La Cruz Venezuela Stake.
Brother García was serving as a stake executive secretary and has formerly served as a counselor in a mission presidency, a district president, a branch president and missionary in the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission. Professionally, he worked as a physical facilities manager, Corporation of the Presiding Bishop. He was born in Rio Caribe, Venezuela, to Angel Benicio García and Raimunda Josefina López.
Sister García was serving as a ward primary president and has formerly served as a stake Relief Society president, stake Young Women presidency counselor, seminary teacher and missionary in the Venezuela Caracas East Mission. Born in Maracay, Venezuela, to Juan Severiano Parra Blasco and Onelia Josefina de Parra Villasana.
