I am from Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania but have been living in Arizona for the past 22 years. Just about a year after my mission I moved to AZ and was a roommate with Lisa (Bennett) Pickett, a companion and friend. She got married on me 6 months later and I stayed in AZ because I had received a blessing before I left on my mission that directed me to move out West after I returned as I would meet my husband there. Well my faith was tested on that blessing because 18 years later I did find my husband! I was recently married for the first time to a wonderful man I met through divine intervention and he was worth the wait! We were married in the AZ temple on Dec. 13th. We hope to adopt a child one day as we want to be parents, but for now we have 3 furry children; Wiley age 13 a terrier mix, Rosie, age 7 a Dalmatian, and Biscuit age 8 a Chihuahua. We recently lost our Welsh Terrier Riley in July. When you combine two established adults in marriage you get a combination of pets too! I currently work for one of the Big Four Accounting/Consulting Firms and have assisted the Advisory Practice for 10 yrs. I love my job as it allows me to use my artistic talents in working with graphics and proposals. Life has been complete with many challenges but they have provided me an opportunity to develop in character and testimony. |
