I am currently the ward mission leader in the Chewelah Ward. The first Elders to serve with me were Elder Caleb Brown and Elder Clemesha. Current missionaries in the Chewelah Ward are Elder Bobo and Elder Hammer. In the last year I have been blessed to work with several elders. They are elder Scherwinski, elder Colburn, elder Trussell and elder Palmer.
We live in a very beautiful area and we wouldn't trade it for any other location. Because we are so rural it does pose a problem with mileage in doing missionary work. Some members of the ward have to drive an hour to get to the church. I lived in the Eltopia area for many years, as well as Kennewick and Richland. We moved to the Gifford area about eight years ago having retired from real estate sales, farming and an adult family home business.
My hobbies are Amateur radio, polishing and working with precious stones. I also have a large motorcycle that I love to go for short rides on. I find it relaxing to cruise the roads on a bike. |
