I lived in Mesa, Az. when called to serve, returned to Mesa when finished serving, lived in Mesa until 2007 when I relocated to Utah, St. George area. Elder Clemments is in my ward here in Utah. I did not serve with him but we served at the same time.
Mission life was great!! If any of the Papa missionary's have a contact info for Elder Steven J. Mayo from England let me know I would love to contact him!! I loved serving in Alaska!
Pesident and Sister Papa were the greatest ever, I love them alot, and love and miss all of those I knew and worked with, and served around!!! As with all missionaries, I miss the days of being a full time missionary, and have a sacred and dear spot in my heart for the areas, missionaries,and people, both members and people I was blessed to teach were very dear to me, and remain close to me in my heart even after all these years!!!
To me when I reflect on my mission to Alaska it is as if it were just the other day/and also seems like forever ago all at the same time!!! I have been home from my mission for over 25 years!!! It's hard to believe!! If any one I knew or knew me reads this drop me an email or something so we can reflect on some of our memories!!!! |
