BI-ANNUAL MISSION NEWSLETTER

Queridos hijos misioneros,

íCuanto les amamos y cuanto les extra±amos! Estßn en nuestros pensamientos y

nuestras oraciones continuamente. Tenemos confianza que andan bien en su

"segunda misin" y que continuan en el proceso de convertir "principios a

valores" en su vida. Hay muchas bendiciones que desean y ya saben la clave

para lograrlas. (vase DyC 130:21-22). Aun estßndo en el camino cada uno de

nosotros tiene que "perserverar hasta el fin" para poder alcanzar la meta

final - la exaltacin.

Como padres adoptivos nos complace ver el progreso y la felicidad de

"nuestros hijos misioneros." íNo se imaginan el gozo que sentimos al aber de

sus xitos, casamientos, estudios, llamamientos, empleos y aun hijos! Favor

de avisarnos cuando hay cambios en su vida, su direccin, etc. para que

podamos mantener el contacto y compartir la felicidad. Nos hace sentir muy

triste cuando no nos podemos comunicar con algunos porque no tenemos una

direccin o numero telefonico corriente. Por eso, hemos incluido una lista de

hijos con "direccin desconocida" en este boletin. Si saben ayudarnos a

encontrarles favor de avisarnos. Entendemos, aun mejor la belleza de la

experiencia que tuvo Alma al encontrarse de nuevo con sus coma±eros misioneros

(vase Alma 17:1-3). Esperamos anhelosamente el da (aunque sea despes de

esta vida) cuando podemos tener una conferencia as con todos los de la gran

Misin Buenos Aires Oeste. Hagamos nuestra parte para que se realice.

La familia Moore sigue creciendo. Estamos esperando la llegada de cuatro

nietos mßs entre octubre y enero. Kris darß a luz a uno y estß an animada,

las esposas de Ben y Dan tambien (Dan y su esposa esperan mellizos.). Solo

Randy y Katie quedan en casa y Randy estß en su ultimo a±o de secundario y va

a cumplir los 18 a±os en algunas semanas. El sigue jugando basquet y

trabajando tambien. El recen calific para ecibir "credito universitario"

para su curso de castella±o. íLos a±os en la Argentina le ayudaron mucho!

Katie sigue con su castella±o tambien recin, junt con otros de su colegio,

gan una competencia de castellano entro los demas colegios de Utah en BYU.

Ella juega volley, basquet, oftball, etc. (Creemos que ha salido tan

deportista porque tiene siete hermanos mayores y una hermana mayor quien

tambien es muy deportista.) Todos los hijos Moore le mandan "saludos." Una

nota de la Hna. Moore: Katie tambien cosi un vestido lindo este verano.

Recibirß mas que una elota como herencia. Ella estß memorizando nuevas

escrituras cada pocos dias. Es un gozo ser padres.

La hermana Moore anda muy bien y muy ocupada como esposa, madre, abuelita,

etc. Su llamamiento en la Sociedad de Socorro le ha resentado muchas

oportunidades de servir y de conocer a los miembros y lideres de la Iglesia en

muchas partes.

El presidente sigue en su trabajo en el SEI (Sistema Educativa de la Iglesia)

y como patriarca de la familia. El llev a sus hijos a hacer algunos

ampamientos este verano incluyendo "hiking the Narrows of Zions National

Park"por diez horas. Cas les mat a la hermana y a Katie. El les tiene en

cuenta en sus oraciones continuamente.

Esperamos que estn re-bien y que nos avisen como andan en todo. Dios vive,

esta es su obra, somos sus hijos y l nos ama. Tenemos n profeta viviente y

la vida es dulce (a pesar de las adversidades de la vida. Vease 1Ne 20-10)

Creemos que lo que dijo El Profeta Jos Smith en yC 123:13-17 y DyC 128:22-23

nos pertenece aun hoy da.

Elder Benjamin y Angela Barnum hicieron toda la comida por la conferencia de

abril y la hermana Lora Sharp y su comit prepararß todo para la conferencia

Reunion de la Gran Misin

Argentina Buenos Aires Oeste

Date: Friday, October 2, 1998

Where: Chapel on the corner of 400 East and 100 South

(4 blocks East of Temple Square)

Time: 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Cost: $2.00 each to cover mailing and food

Food: Sister Lora Sharp and the Reunion Committee which consists Katie

Candland, Ann Belcher, Julie Burdette, Marci Hedges, and Kim Hansen would like

everyone to bring their favorite dessert, ie.

brownies, cookies, pies, cakes, homemade ice cream (are we getting too carried

away?), etc. They will provide the rest. It should be "maravillosa!"

Invited: The Best Missionaries in the World (and your spouse or friend.)

Dress: Please comed dressed in nice casual. As in meetings before we will

have a section in the chapel, please dress appropriately.

We would also like to congratulate all the new Mother's and Father's we have

in our family. We wish we could name them all, but we don't wish to leave

anybody out whom we are unaware of at this time. What a wonderful experience

to raise up these little ones in this day and age when the true Gospel of

Jesus Christ is on the earth. May God bless and keep us always as we strive

to do his will and continue in the building up of the Kingdom here on Earth.
