It was great to see a few of you at the 2004 reunion!!
I have been working for a pair of mining companies since leaving BYU in 1990. Financial reporting and IT Systems Implementations for various Iron Ore, Copper, Coal and Diamond mines around the world taking my family to San Francisco, New Mexico, Rio de Janeiro and Houston. Paused to complete an MBA at University of Houston.
Highlights include 3 years living in Rio where I traded my Espanol for Portunol. Was wonderful serving as Bishop in Rio.....felt like being a missionary all over again, ward budget was actually very similar to missionary budget :)
We now live in Kaysville, Utah and I work in Salt Lake for Barrick Gold Corporation. It is nice to be surrounded by mountains again and introduce my children to skiing and trout fishing! |
