After mission, I worked at MTC in Provo while completing my BA and MA, then attended Duke for my Ph.D. in Romance Languages. Taught Spanish for a few years, then spent two decades in international trade. I sold real estate and taught global marketing part time at Creighton University and international management at Nebraska-Lincoln. Served several stake missions and in two mission presidencies. Shauna and I have 5 children (Christopher Burgon Valentine, MD, Lisa Valentine Clark - homemaker, Gina Valentine James - homemaker, James Burgon Valentine - Maroon 5 guitarist, Amanda Valentine Holland - designer) and thirteen grandchildren. We moved back to Utah in 2004 and built a home in Highland, Utah near American Fork Canyon. I have taught part-time at BYU and Utah Valley University. I also sell real estate. I chaired the Provo High Class of 1960 50th reunion in 2010. I am eager to stay connected to those who served with President and Sister Stone. |
