Lucio married Mari from Santa Fe, they have a son (served in the Salta mission) and a daughter, who has given them 2 grandchildren. Lucio worked for the D. F. Sarmiento Railroad for nearly 30 years until after it was privatized and now works in security and has run a home based business.
