Comments:
I am currently living in the Los Angeles area. In 1997 I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Music Composition, then I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an Orchestral Composer for Film and Television. I continued my graduate studies at University of Southern California where I received a Masters degree in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television. I was married in Aug of '98 in the Salt Lake temple. Her name is Andra. She served a mission in Sofia Bulgaria. She has been working in television production as an Line Producer and doing very well. We lived in LA for 9 years right after college, then moved back to Utah to be closer to family. We lived in Riverton for 5 years and had a fantastic experience there. We both continued working in our careers, but in the end there was just not enough job opportunities. So in late 2010 we moved back to LA for better work. It has been great, and the work situation has been SO much better. We also love the weather and all the fun things to do here. However, we definitely miss our family and friends back in Utah.

As far as my own family goes, in July of 2003 we had our first child. Her name is Elyssa. In 2006 we had kid #2, his name is Brennan, and we had our 3rd in 2009. I'm currently writing music from time to time in my home studio while taking care of the kids. It's been such a great experience being the stay at home parent. It's exhausting, and the house work is not thrilling after the millionth time. However, being able to be close to my kids and see them grow and learn and to be able to develop close relationships with them has been priceless. In between errands, poopy diapers, cleaning house and taking care of the kids, I occasionally get to compose music from home instead of working a desk job somewhere.

So things are hectic, but wonderful.
