She is a stake missionary and ward music director, and has been a Young Women president, Relief Society president, Relief Society teacher, Primary teacher and ward organist; attended BYU; born in Lynndyl, Utah, to Bert C. and Nina Ahlstrom Johnson.

Shirley D. Christensen married L. Marlene Ahlstrom in December 2006 and now have a combined family of 11 children, 10 living. We live in Riverton, Utah since Shirley's release from the Second Quorum of the Seventy in October 2009. Our time is occupied enjoying family and serving in the Jordan River Temple.
We are planning a mission reunion on October 1, 2010 at 1208 W. 12400 S. in Riverton, Utah. Together with a committe of former missionaries we are attempting to contact all former missionaries.
