An attorney in Orange County, California for almost 30 years, he now is back in Orange County settling back in to the post-mission life and serving as a Counselor in the California Carlsbad Mission Presidency.
Colleen Challis Higham was born in San Francisco, California, and raised in Salt Lake City and Walnut Creek, California. She has served in the Church in a variety of callings, including Humanitarian Service Leader, Young Womens Camp Director, Cub Scout Den Leader, Primary President, Relief Society President and Full-Time Missionary and companion to her husband—as well as a full-time mother.
The Highams are the parents of twelve children: seven are married, Adam and Debbie are returned missionaries attending BYU, and Becky, Liz and Michael (ages 17-14) are still at home and in high school. They are also the grandparents of 25, with (at least) one more on the way. |
