I now live in Salt Lake City Utah. I am married with three children: Amanda Joyce, 7, TeKaha Bruce Bowkett, 4, and Aleah Rangi, 2. We have lived here for just over 5 years now since March 8, 2001. I work downtown as a property manager for Sunset Towers Apartments. Right now I am Primary President for our ward. We've tended to move around town for a bit, but I think we've finally managed to settle down for a while.
I think one of the best things that I love about living here is being so close to temples. In New Zealand sometimes it almost 5 hour to go, now I can reach about 5 or 6 temples within half an hour. Also, it's been fun to get into doing my family history here. I have some pioneer ancestors that helped to settle the Salt Lake valley and other areas around Utah. There is also a lot of info on the Maori side here too. I haven't had a chance to research it too thoroughly, but I plan to look into some things I've found out about.
