I am the mama of Elder Emerson Watanabe serving in the AAM July 2004 to July 2006. I was raised in the Baptist Church in Georgia. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since age 24 when I was studying Chinese and Chinese Art History in my search for the true church. Joining the church was the best decision I have ever made. The Gospel has blessed my life in immeasurable ways. My husband Russell and I are the happy parents of three wonderful children, Jonathan, age 25, Emerson, age 22- 1/2 and Natalie Leilani, age 21. We live in Hawaii on Oahu on a hill above Pearl Harbor. I love to teach the Gospel in any church organization. Presently, I am a YSA Stake Advisor, and a Stake YSA Institute Teacher. I love photography, graphic arts and I love to sew. I enjoy the YSA so very much and love to cook them brownies with mini m&m's for YSA Munch & Mingles. I have an endearing testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I love to serve in the temple. |
