I love hearing from mission friends. I think about the mission all the time, and miss the many people that I met during my journey.
The experiences I had in Australia strengthened my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was a choice time.
In addition to gaining a stronger conviction for the precepts of the Gospel, I came home with a deep appreciation for the cultures that make up Australia, and still hold a grateful place in my heart for the kindness people showed me while I was their guest.
I am grateful I was able to serve as a messenger of the Lord. I'm humbled by the generosity of the Lord, and sincerity of those who opened their hearts enough to recognize and follow the promptings of the Spirit of God, the author of truth and salvation.
It is now, and always will be, my humble belief that God lives. He loves all His children. Nowhere is His love more apparent, than in the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer.
By seeking to know the only true God and follow His commandments, not only will we find Eternal Life and Exaltation, but we'll become better citizens of our communities, members of our families, and happier in our own lives.
The fullness of the Gospel can only be found in His Kingdom on Earth...the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Amen. |
