After returning from Australia I started back at BYU within a week. Before that year was complete I was engaged and married. We had been friends for many years and we hit it off as soon as I returned home. At that time we moved to Salt Lake, saw the light and transferred to the University of Utah. I got my degree in accounting from the "U" and we moved to Las Vegas as soon as I graduated to work for Deloitte & Touche (accounting firm). Since we moved to Vegas in 1994 I have worked for a golf course company and the last 8+ years I have worked for a NYSE listed healthcare company. Most recently I was the CFO before we were acquired by United Healthcare in 2008. In late 2008 we moved back to Utah and are living in Draper. We have 3 wonderful kids and are enjoying being back in Utah. I still commute to Vegas 3 days a week and work the other two days from home. It is great to see what everyone is up to. We had a great group in the mission. |
