Proud to have served in the greatest mission in this world. Proud to now have my son serving in the same mission. I wish I had known of this site earlier - it would have been good to be able to keep in touch with the many great men I worked with in Queensland. My MTC companion was Elder Philip Parker.
My trainer was Elder Terry R. Waters. My "son" was Elder Anthony B Abel. Other companions were Elder James Sombke, Elder Russell Tolley, Elder Kevin B. Hale, Elder Scott W Bowlby and Elder Lyndon K Harrison. In the photo, I'm the ugly one. We have three children - two girls, one lad (serving his mission in 2013 - 2015 in Queensland!) I've served everywhere from the nursery to high council. Been in several bishoprics, but not bishop. Age has brought regret about that, but I was happy to have avoided it before. Life is too good. The alternative can wait, I hope. |
