After my mission I completed an English degree at the University of Utah. I decided not to go to Law School, and ended up doing Technical Support for WordPerfect for four and a half years. While I was working at WordPerfect, I met my wife at a singles' ward in American Fork. She was a return missionary from Venezuela. We had been married two years in 1986 when Corel bought WordPerfect from Novell, and promptly laid me off. I decided to go back to school and get a Computer Science degree from Utah Valley State College. I finished the degree in August of 2002. I programmed educational software for the Waterford Institute in Provo for four and a half years. I now work as a Software Engineer for Raytheon in Salt Lake. I have four children. We moved to a new address in May 2012. I was just released from the bishopric. I have also served in the High Priests Group Leadership, as Young Men's Secretary, Sunday School President, and Webelos Leader. Life is great! |
