We are sad to inform you that Michael passed away May 18th, 2006. He was in a single car accident and was taken to the hospital in extreme critical condition. He wasn't expected to live through the night. Not only did he survive through the night but he stayed with us for 16 days. Our family was able to speak to him in a conciouse state and tell him we love him. We also were able to see his beautiful smile. Michael was the third born to Julie and Gene Chantry and was the only boy in a family of six sisters. All of us girls feel extremely blessed to have had him as our brother. He watched over us and was always doing sweet acts of service. Michael loved scouting with his dad and had achieved his Eagle. Michael and his dad were always together doing anything from scouting, church service, yard work, etc. Michael was always finding people and oppurtunity to serve. When he came home from his mission he got an apartment and started school in Fort Collins. Even though he had moved out of his parents home he would always come by the house to see if his mom needed anything done or just to talk to her about what was going on with him. Michael will be very missed but we find such great comfort in knowing that we will see him again and that our family is sealed together for eternity.
