...........the monstrous quake of 22 February 2011. This struck without warning, at 12:51 hours, that day.
I was flung to the ground, and the earth shook, and this came with absolutely no warning at all.
Grit in the air; liquefaction everywhere.
Kilmore Street/ Victoria Street/Salisbury Street all smashed. Drive like rally racers in some parts, which also includes that of Fitzgerald Avenue, and Moorhouse Avenue.
Fire and Alarms sounding; bewildered people; shock.
Aftershocks frightening.
Central City still cordoned-off; arrests lie in wait for Cordon-breakers.
Currently residing at a Church member's house in Upper Riccarton, Christchurch.
Aftershock activity seems to have died down
