Hey people, wish I could be at the reunion to soak up some of that AMWM spirit! Meanwhile, life's cruising along here in Brissy. "Beautiful one day, perfect the next" as the saying goes. I've been home almost 3 months and I'm past the stage of inadvertently introducing myself as "Sister Davie", complete with handshake, but some minor withdrawal symptoms still exist. One 'symptom' I hope I'll never lose is that of deep gratitude for having had the opportunity to serve a mission! And my favourite scripture for the day: "...but seek ye first to build up the kingdom of God, and to establish his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." JST Matt. 6:38 |
