Ended our Southern CA era in 2004, 23 years in Riverside ending due to job loss, death in family, and red hot SoCal real estate market. Now ensconsed in Utah County with wife Julie and daughter Chantal. Talk about a change in surroundings! Worked 22 years for JC Penney doing everything from hanging drapes to sending people to jail. Can you see me chasing a teenager across the parking lot to get my Nikes back? Since then I tried the self-employment thing, and when that did not work out, am renting trucks for UHaul up in Salt Lake City. Over two decades since last set foot in the lands of les Francais et les Wallons, but lots of good memories still. |
