Comments: After returning from the mission I worked on an undergraduate degree in teaching French with minors in TESOL and Arabic. At my proposal, I completed my teaching practica at the Canadian International School of Egypt, in Cairo, Egypt, where I subsequently worked for a year. Through good friends in the Cairo Branch (at that time in the Amman, Jordan District) I was guided to a master's of education program with an emphasis in comparative and international development education. After a year in that program I decided to supplement it with an M.S. in sociology. I'm currently working on a project in social entrepreneurship, but hope to complete an EdD at some point. All this with the goal of doing educational development work in Sub-Saharan Africa. |
