Comments:
After completing my Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning at BYU, my wife, Barbara Jo and I were married in the St. George Temple.
A grand adventure brought us to California shortly after to start our new life together. We opened a gymnastics facility for children 2 years later and this will be our 20th year in business. TRICKS Gymnastics, Dance & Swim serves families in Granite Bay, Folsom and Sacramento. (www.tricksgym.com)
We have been busy raising four children (Jordan-19, Jackson-17, Jacob-15 and Allie Jo-11). Jordan is currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Warsaw Poland Mission. We adopted Brooke when she was 19 after both of her parents died in her young life.
My testimony is firm and unshakable. I know that the truth has been restored to the earth and that Jesus is the very Christ. I am grateful to have born that witness across the northern part of France and in Brussels so many years ago; and I am grateful to share it today.
I have had the privilege of teaching Early Morning Seminary for years, and loved it. I fell in love with Church History and had the blessing of visiting Palmyra, Fayette, Kirtland, Nauvoo and the Holy Land during those seminary years. I have also served as Elder's Quorum President, Young Men's President, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Executive Secretary, Bishop and am currently serving in the Presidency of the Roseville, CA Stake.
I am grateful everyday for my mission and the foundation that I feel it helped me establish in my life.
