I finished my undergraduate degree in French language and literature from the University of Alberta. I also completed a certificate in French to English translation. I am now working as an immigration officer for Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Our office is located in Vegreville, Alberta. Carolyn and I bought a house in this small town of 5500 people 1 hour east of Edmonton, AB. I really enjoy my 10 minute walk to work.
I have a wonderful wife, Carolyn Pack. We were married on 17 November 2007. I had a chance to take my wife to France in summer 2008 where we leased a car and spent 5 weeks touring France and Belgium with a day trip to the Swiss Temple. It was a great 5 weeks and Carolyn really enjoyed her first trip to France and Europe.
My wife, Carolyn, gave birth on 25 January 2009 to our first child, Andrew Jeffery Shaw. We love him so much!
