While I was studying for the Bar, the law firm I was going to work for in New York City sent out a notice that there were openings in a few of the foreign offices for new associates to start. I said I was interested in starting in the Madrid office, so here I am, with a commitment to work here for two years before heading back to New York. After a few weeks of living in a hotel, my family should be able to move into our new apartment. We're just waiting until our goods make it out of customs before we move into the place. We have two great kids, Isaac (3) and Stella (1) who are excited about learning Spanish. |
