Teaching By the Spirit 03 May 2003
Story from Hyrum Cordingley's letter of 5th of March 2003.

Here is a real neat story that happened yesterday. We met a family on the street and scheduled a day to teach them. Yesterday night we went to their house and started teaching the first discussion, they really liked it and were all interested. Then someone clapped, they clap instead of knocking here at their gate. It was friends dropping something off. But they were members of a different ward. They said "Hi Elders, How's it going". Then they said to their friends, the people we were teaching, "Listen it will bring you happiness like we have."

Well the investigator took this as a sign from God. They said that is was interesting that good friends would show up, the same time as we were there and tell them to listen to us. God must want them to listen.

They were very open during the rest of the discussion, and when we taught about Joseph Smith and his first Vision I felt the sprit and them also. As they said "a strong feeling over their whole body."
