He is in his first area...Barbacena (arrived there 11-02-03). His companion is Elder Brito. He loves the food, is getting used to the mold on his "dry" clothes, has holes in his socks only after 2 months in "the field" but is making progress in the language and feeling the spirit! He loves it.

James has been transferred to a new area called Sabara. It is close to Belo Horizonte and to the mission home. He has a new companion, Elder Lira whom he likes. He feels like he as at a point with his portuguese that he can understand and be understood which is a great thing. In his own words, he is ready to "run from door to door" to find those who are seeking. He is really "catching the vision". |
