I figured that after four years it was time to update my profile here. I moved to Ann Arbor, MI in August 2007 to start a doctoral program in vocal performance at the Univ. of Michigan. I love Ann Arbor and my ward here is the greatest. Still working on the whole getting married thing.
In the summer of '08 I went back to Brazil for a month and it was incredible. I was amazed to see how much the church had grown in Campinas in the six years I had been away. I met up with a friend in Rio and we traveled all over the place - Rio, Ouro Preto, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Brasília, Manaus, Rio Branco, Foz do Iguaçú, Curitiba, São Paulo. If you Americans haven't been able to go back to Brazil, I would highly recommend finding a way to make it happen.
